Terms of Service
Clockr is a venue. Sellers decide whom they meet.
What Clockr is
Clockr is a venue. It publishes listings by people who sell their time, verifies identity, and moves money. Sellers decide whom they meet. Buyers decide what to bid. Clockr is not a party to any meeting and does not supervise, endorse, or guarantee anyone or anything that happens at one.
"Identity verified" means a government ID and a selfie were checked by our verification provider. It does not mean a person is safe, vetted, or suitable, and Clockr makes no such claim.
Accounts
You must be 18 or over. One person, one account. Sitting elected officials and government employees may not sell access to themselves. No listing may be framed around appearance or companionship. You are responsible for complying with the laws where you operate, including any rules of your employer, profession, or office.
A seller may not take a meeting with a buyer over whose pending application, admission, hiring, or contract decision the seller has authority.
Bids, bookings, and money
A seller lists offers, each with an Ask. A buyer bids on an offer, or books it at the Ask with a card held for the amount. A bid lasts 48 hours. A seller who selects a bid has 48 hours to confirm or decline, and may decline anyone for any reason; no reason is asked for or stored. Confirmed bids are paid within 24 hours by card, or within three business days by bank transfer for larger amounts. Clockr holds the money until 24 hours after the scheduled end of the meeting and then releases 80 percent to the seller. Clockr's fee is 20 percent; card processing costs are absorbed by Clockr. Every card charge uses 3D Secure.
Cancellation terms are shown before you pay and accepted when you pay. For meetings up to four hours booked more than 48 hours ahead: a full refund more than 48 hours before, half inside 48 hours, none inside 24 hours or for a no-show. For longer meetings the same steps apply at seven days and 48 hours. A meeting booked inside 48 hours is short notice: free to cancel for 15 minutes after payment, then half, and none inside two hours of the start. A seller who cancels refunds the buyer in full and receives a strike; two strikes in 90 days suspend the seller. A meeting may be moved twice at no charge if both sides agree before it starts. A meeting that both sides arrive at but never start is refunded in full and nobody is paid.
The Meeting Agreement
Every seller accepts the Meeting Agreement when listing and every buyer accepts it when bidding. It is part of these terms. Meetings are one-on-one. The first meeting between any two people is in a public venue. No photos, recording, or posting without consent. No reselling or transferring access. Conversations are not legal, medical, or financial services and create no professional relationship.
Disputes and chargebacks
If something went wrong at a meeting, use Report a problem in the app within 24 hours of the scheduled end; the money is held while Clockr looks. A chargeback filed with a card issuer after a meeting the app verified with the meeting code ends the account permanently and revokes any invitations the person made. Clockr keeps the records of the booking, both arrival taps, the code entry, and the accepted terms, and provides them to the card network.
Assumption of risk and liability
You meet other people at your own risk. Clockr does not run background checks. To the fullest extent the law allows, Clockr, its owners, and its staff are not liable for anything that happens at or because of a meeting, and Clockr's total liability to you for anything else is limited to the fees you paid Clockr in the twelve months before the claim. Each of us agrees to indemnify the other against claims arising from our own breach of these terms or our own conduct.
Arbitration and class action waiver
Any dispute with Clockr that we cannot settle by email within 30 days goes to binding individual arbitration in Atlanta, Georgia, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and not to court, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Clockr each waive any right to a jury trial and to take part in a class or representative action. Georgia law applies.
Ending things
You may delete your account at any time from the app. Clockr may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, the Meeting Agreement, or the law, or that a report or a dispute shows to be a risk to others. Bans are permanent and survive account deletion. Money owed is settled under the cancellation terms above.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app shows the new version before your next bid or listing and asks you to accept it. The current version is always at this address.
